Sharing a QB DATA on Your Windows 10 PC

Before doing these steps make sure you already set up the Network and Sharing Center

We will show you how to share the “QB DATA” folder on Windows 10 PC.

1. Press Win + E to open a File Explorer window.
2. In File Explorer, choose This PC from the left side of the window.
3. Choose which Local Drive where you want to store the QuickBooks Data then hit enter.

We recommend creating a partition drive in case you will be needing to reformat the computer you will just choose the drive where the Operating System stored.

4. Press Ctrl + Shift + N to create a new folder and name it “QB DATA”
5. Inside the “QB DATA” folder create another two folders and name them “QBW” and “QBB”.
6. Right-click the “QB DATA” > Give access to > Specific People.
7. On network access click the arrow and select Everyone.
8. Click Share.
